Don't Go Near W******** Real Estate

    Hello,

I have had the misfortune of using W******** Real Estate. I had problems with them during my tenancy - they were completely unresponsive when repairs were required - and afterwards when I tried to recover my bond they did not complete their side of the bond form.

There were serious issues with the property relating to the core structure of the building, particularly plumbing. This did not become apparent until a couple of months of living at the property. I notified the agent of these problems - in accordance with the established process - but nothing happened in the following 8 months of living at the property!

The same lack of responsiveness has been seen when I have been trying to get them to complete the bond form. To reclaim the bond I need them to sign the appropriate form (which I sent them) and forward it to the bond agency. I have been chasing this for nearly 2 months now and they still haven't completed the form!

I have moved overseas and trying to get this done now from overseas is becoming more and more problemmatic. I can't believe I might have to walk away from $1200 because this company can't get their act together yet again!

I would reccommend that no one uses the W******** Real Estate when renting properties, particularly if Roman Neurater is involved! If this is how they behave with rental properties they are probably just as bad for all Real Estate activities.

     Don't Go Near Them!

Re: Don't Go Near Wentworth Real Estate

    Hi,

I hope you get your bond back.  I'm wondering if withholding bond money is a serious problem everywhere now, because of the shortage of rentals.  We had the same problem.  The property person from Warwick Williams - Julie Hallihan, seemed gushingly interested in how long we were going to be overseas for.  She agreed to email us when our bond was going to be paid into the bank but failed to do so. (Obviously the word 'overseas' does it - they start dribbling with excitment at the prospect of you not being around to demand the money, and you can't go to the Tribunal.)  After several attempts to chase this up, she ended up sending us a picture of a feather on the floor and said it cost $200.00 to pick up.  We eventually got the remainder of the bond back - but are still trying to get the rest.  She is failing to reply to our messages - what a surprise...

Maybe you should post a picture on this site of the guy who's responsible for withholding your bond.  If he's anything like the woman we dealt with - your email box will be buckling under the weight of self-portraits.  (We really could have done without quite so many photos of this woman attached to her one email while we were away).  You will see why when I post one of her pictures......

    Good luck.
